President's Message

As we embark on another Rotary year, the good deeds of Rotarians are evident throughout the world. 

From the tiny Ugandan village of Oduworo where they now have a reliable source of potable water to the local Rancho Mirage Elementary School which will now have much needed library resources, Rotary projects meet the needs of tens of thousands on a daily basis.

There is yet much to do. 

Polio still lurks in the background and we must remain committed to the fulfillment of the promise of total eradication.  There are more small villages and local programs in need of our caring help.

I ask each of you to get involved and participate in whatever way you can.

The theme of 2009-2010 Rotary International President, John Kenny is, "The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands." 

Let us all use our hands to make that future bright.
